Steelers vs Browns: 4 causes for concern this week

The Pittsburgh Steelers pulled off a thrilling win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Too bad they can’t take any time to enjoy it since they now must travel to Cleveland for a Thursday Night Football game against the 2-1 Browns. Here are the big causes for concern this week.

Win or lose, we will continue to hate Thursday night games. The short week is a nightmare for both teams but always favors the home team and the Steelers historically have been awful on the road on Thursday nights against the AFC North.

The Steelers could be down Brandin Echols and Jalen Ramsey this week and we still don’t know what Joey Porter Jr. is doing. This could press rookie Daylen Everett into a starting job and leave Pittsburgh very thin in the secondary.

Last week, the trio of T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith and Nick Herbig failed to register a sack, and the same goes for Cameron Heyward. It’s hard to imagine the Steelers winning two in a row with that type of production from the top pass rushers.

Brock Hoffman and Max Iheanachor shone as the new starting right side of the offensive line. Now, if we want to believe they are the future they have to do it again.
