Steelers' AFC North rival Ravens gets trade update on star RB Derrick Henry

The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t the only AFC North team receiving huge trade updates days before the November 10 NFL trade deadline, as Baltimore Ravens fans got some interesting news about the team’s superstar running back, Derrick Henry.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the 4-5 Ravens, coming off a four-game losing streak, are unlikely to trade Henry at the November 10 deadline.

Henry, who began his NFL career with the Tennessee Titans (2016–2023), signed with the Ravens in 2024 free agency. During his 11-year NFL career, Henry has recorded 13,707 rushing yards and 130 rushing touchdowns, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest running backs to ever do it.

Unfortunately, this trade update likely means the Steelers will have to face Henry when Pittsburgh faces off against the Ravens in Weeks 15 and 18 this season. Despite being neutralized by the Steelers during his time as a Tennessee Titan, Henry has found tremendous success during his time as a Raven, rushing for 633 yards and three touchdowns in just five games, including the 2025 AFC Wild Card matchup in which he rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns.

Although the Ravens are unlikely to trade Henry at the NFL trade deadline, the Steelers have been linked to a few moves themselves, including the potential acquisition of additional wide receiver help.
