The tournament was held Oct. 26-27 at Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow.

Wilson, a junior on the Southwestern women’s golf team, opened the tournament with an even-par 72, highlighted by six birdies, before carding a 74 in the second round.

Wilson was at the top of the leaderboard late in the final round before a bogey on the 17th hole dropped her into second place. The runner-up finish still marked the highest placement of her collegiate career.

She also tied for the most birdies in the tournament with 10.

Wilson finished third among Southwestern players in each of the Lady Bulldogs’ first two fall tournaments before recording back-to-back runner-up finishes. Her performance at the Tulsa Cup moved her to the top of the SWOSU lineup.

The Tulsa Cup marked the final tournament of the fall season for Wilson and the Lady Bulldogs.
