Jovanovic was picked in the second round, 40th overall by the Brantford Bulldogs. In the women’s hockey world, Jovanovic has yet to become a household name because she’s been left off Team Ontario and Team Canada due to the fact she’s played only boys’ hockey.

The 5-foot-11 Jovanovic has spent her minor hockey career playing ‘AAA’ for the Toronto Marlboros including this season for the U-18 program.

Jovanovic is committed to play NCAA Division 1 hockey for the University of Wisconsin, the top women’s hockey program in the NCAA. She’ll join in 2027.
