Sean Strickland escorted out by security after sneaking into UFC Fan Fest, faces possible disorderly conduct charge

<p>UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland could be looking a misdemeanor charge for disorderly conduct after sneaking into the UFC Fan Fest at the White House on Sunday.</p>
<p>After claiming he was banned from attending the historic event, Strickland still made his way to Washington D.C. where he was mobbed by fans during the pre-fight press conference on Friday. Strickland then attempted to find a way into the fan fest happening at the Ellipse near the White House but that plan also went awry.</p>
<p>While he did manage to make it inside and actually jump in a WWE ring set up at the event, Strickland was quickly removed by security and escorted out.</p>
<p>Strickland wasn&#8217;t arrested but he claims he may be facing a disorderly conduct charge, which is a Class B misdemeanor in Washington D.C. punishable by up to 90 days in jail and up to a $500 fine or both.</p>
<p>&#8220;I may have been charged with disorderly conduct. I don&#8217;t know what that is but it sounds cool,&#8221; Strickland said on Instagram. &#8220;Anyways, I just want to thank you fans. I can&#8217;t thank you guys enough. After being banned, you guys riding, supporting me, it means a lot to me.&#8221;</p>

<p>In a separate post, Strickland showed off a photo of him being removed from the event, led away by a slew of security officers working the show.</p>
<p>&#8220;Sorry you guys,&#8221; Strickland wrote. &#8220;We almost made it! Promise one day, we will set up a circle and box. Thanks for your support.&#8221;</p>

<p>Strickland made himself the center of attention after <a href="https://www.mmafighting.com/ufc/492104/sean-strickland-claims-he-was-banned-from-attending-ufc-white-house-card">he claimed he was banned from attending the UFC White House card</a> over his outspoken criticism towards President Donald Trump and his close allegiance with Israel as well as the war in Iran.</p>
<p>UFC CEO Dana White later scoffed at those comments and said that <a href="https://www.mmafighting.com/ufc/493242/dana-white-refutes-sean-stricklands-claim-hes-banned-from-the-ufc-white-house-card-nobody-is-banned">no one was banned from the UFC White House card — including Strickland</a> — but with a limited number of seats available for the show, he just wasn&#8217;t on the guest list.</p>
<p>Still, Strickland vowed to make an appearance and he followed through on his promise before security booted him out of the event before the action started on Sunday night.</p>
