With the Seahawks’ Quenton Nelson can’t escape JefferySeattle Seahawks trading for star offensive lineman Quenton Nelson from the Indianapolis Colts, he’s looking to start a new chapter in his NFL career after eight years with his now-former team. As the Seahawks take on the Chicago Bears in Week 8, a recent news item will bring some familiarity from Nelson’s Colts days.

While the trade for Nelson was big news, it wasn’t the only big trade made this week, as the Bears traded for star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans. Both players have been battling each other for eight seasons in the AFC South, and they’ll battle once again on Sunday as part of their new teams.

Speaking to the media for the first time on Thursday since the trade, Nelson was asked about going up against Simmons, and aside from complimenting the defensive tackle, he made a humorous joke about not being able to get away from him.
