School Where Pupils Were Abducted Was Inoperative, Used For Malpractice — Kogi Commissioner

The Kogi State Government has maintained that the school where four pupils were abducted during a National Examination Council (NECO) exam is a ‘miracle centre,’ a phrase depicting a place where malpractice is encouraged in the local parlance.

The Commission for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, who stated this on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Friday, said that the school had not been in use for some time as a better structure had been provided.

His comment came after the rescue of the pupils, their principal, and an ad hoc staff member of NECO were abducted on Tuesday when the school in Odo-Ekina, Dekina Local Government Area of the state, came under attack.
