Savannah Bananas' Banana Ball returning to Memphis. How to get tickets
Banana Ball, the Savannah Bananas’ popular brand of baseball, will return to Memphis in 2027, the organization announced Oct. 15.
The Party Animals and Indianapolis Clowns will play April 2-3 at AutoZone Park, home of the Memphis Redbirds.
Banana Ball ventured to the Bluff City in 2026, when the Party Animals and Clowns played in front of back-to-back sold-out crowds on March 7-8.
The Savannah Bananas themselves, the main attraction in the six-team Banana Ball Championship League, are not scheduled to play. Game times are to be determined. Tickets will be sold by the Bananas organization, and fans must enter the Bananas’ lottery list by Oct. 31 on the team’s website to have a chance to purchase tickets.
Fans must enter the Bananas’ lottery list by Oct. 31 on the organization’s web site or visit the Memphis Redbirds’ web site to have a chance to purchase tickets.
A random drawing will take place before the event for the chance to purchase available tickets. Redbirds season ticket members will have special access to an exclusive presale.
The Savannah Bananas are about showmanship and entertainment rather than competitive baseball. Its games feature choreographed skits, dances and other activities throughout a two-hour event.
The Savannah Bananas are often referred to as the “Harlem Globetrotters of baseball.”
