Roma block Vaz’s exit until new winger is signed
Roma’s transfer market is more heated than ever, and in the last few hours, the Giallorossi management has been trying to close the final deals.
The top priority is the winger so desired by coach Gian Piero Gasperini, and sporting director Tony D’Amico has several names on the list.
However, no one has yet been confirmed, and this has repercussions for the outgoing transfer market.
According to La Repubblica, Robinio Vaz’s loan move to Hull City has been temporarily put on hold. The decision was made by manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who was crystal clear with the management: the young French talent will not move from the capital until the club has finalized and formalized the purchase of their new attacking winger.
For now, therefore, there is no English transfer for the 2007-born player. With the transfer window approaching and the attack still to be finalized, the manager has no intention of shortening the squad and exposing himself numerically in attack.
Vaz therefore remains at Gasperini’s disposal, becoming a crucial insurance policy for the team while awaiting the much-desired transfers.
