The Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, presented the cheques on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, as part of the police welfare programme for families of officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.

According to a statement on Thursday, by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Agabe Blessing Kaborlo, CP Adepoju said the initiative reflects the commitment of the Inspector-General to the welfare of police personnel and their families.

Adepoju also assured the beneficiaries that the sacrifices made by the deceased officers would not be forgotten, while appreciating the IGP for continuing to support the families of fallen police officers.
