International multimedia journalist and former BBC correspondent, Donu Kogbara, says the withdrawal of Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, from the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship primaries was a complete surrender.

Kogbara made this remark on Thursday during a live appearance in an interview on Arise Television.

She was reacting to the recent political activities in the state, where Fubara withdrew from the APC primaries.

“It was a complete surrender of a very weak man,” Kogbara said.

According to her, the dispute between Fubara and the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, got to a point where the governor either had to fully resist political pressure or give in.

The international media personality further stated that she supported Fubara during the political tensions in Rivers State because she believed he was being treated unfairly.
