Rienk Mast one of four players signed to Exhibit 10 deals with Pacers

Former Nebraska center Rienk Mast — one of the Pacers’ top performers at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in July — was one of four players signed to Exhibit 10 contracts by the Pacers on Saturday.

The Pacers also signed former BYU center Keiba Keta, former Georgia Tech forward Kowacie Reeves Jr. and former Gonzaga wing Jalen Warley to Exhibit 10 deals. They also signed forwards Keion Brooks Jr., and M.J. Iraldi and guards Wade Taylor IV and Cam Hildreth to Exhibit 10 deals earlier this week.

Exhibit 10 contracts are formally considered one-year, non-guaranteed minimum salary contracts, but their more pertinent function is to provide a bonus for players to stay in the G League. Players who sign Exhibit 10 deals who are then waived by the parent club can make a bonus of up to $91,000 if they spend at least 60 days on the roster of that team’s G League affiliate in the 2026-27 season. Brooks, Iraldi, Taylor and Hildreth have already been waived and Mast, Keta, Reeves, and Warley will likely also be waived shortly and end up on the roster of the Noblesville Boom.

Mast finished second on the Pacers’ Summer League roster in scoring and first in rebounding in July, averaging 15.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game and shooting 47.9% from the floor including 33.3% from 3-point range. Forward Jalen Slawson (20.8 ppg) was the only player who averaged more points and he will start the season on a two-way contract. Mast, a 6-10, 250-pound, 25-year-old native of the Netherlands, spent seven seasons in college due to injury and the COVID pandemic and averaged 13.3 points and 5.8 rebounds last season for Nebraska.
