Richaun Holmes has a message for Sixers after LeBron James signing

In case one has been sleeping, the Philadelphia 76ers signed LeBron James. The future Hall of Famer and 41-year-old is headed to the City of Brotherly Love to team up with Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, and VJ Edgecombe to give the Sixers an outstanding chance of winning a championship.

As the Sixers continue with the offseason, some might believe they need a backup center and shore up that position on the roster. Former Sixers big man Richaun Holmes, who spent the 2025-26 season playing overseas in Greece, had a message for Philadelphia after it signed James to a deal.

Holmes was selected by the Sixers with the No. 37 pick of the 2015 NBA draft and averaged 7.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in three seasons. He was then traded to the Phoenix Suns before joining the Sacramento Kings, traded to the Dallas Mavericks, and then moved to the Washington Wizards before heading overseas. He is now looking to return to the league and believes Philadelphia could use his services.
