Report: Pat Spencer agrees to two-way contract with Phoenix Suns

As free agency progresses, a former member of the Golden State Warriors has reportedly found a new home. After spending the first three seasons of his career in the Bay Area, Pat Spencer is set to join the Phoenix Suns in free agency.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, is signing a new two-way contract with the Suns.

Spencer played a career-high 66 games for the Warriors last season, averaging 7.2 points on 42.7% shooting from the field to go along with 3.5 assists and 2.4 boards in 18.6 minutes per game.

Spencer played four years of college lacrosse at Loyola, winning the Tewaaraton Award as a senior before transferring to Northwestern to play basketball in 2019. After a season of hoops at Northwestern, Spencer played basketball in Germany and for the G League’s Capital City Go-Go. In 2022, Spencer signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Warriors. In 2024, Spencer made his NBA debut with the Warriors.

Spencer went on to play three seasons in Golden State, averaging 5.2 points on 42.3% shooting from the field, 2.6 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game.
