Report: Illinois adds two non-conference home games

Illinois will get another meeting with Fran McCaffery — less will be at stake this time around.

After a matchup with Fran and the Penn Quakers in the NCAA Tournament, Illinois is inviting the Ivy League squad to Champaign.

According to Rocco Miller and TCR’s Robby Nardini, Illinois will host Penn on Nov. 5. That will be one of the first games of the 2026-27 season for the Illini.

Illinois will host Penn on November 5th and Eastern Illinois on November 20th at the State Farm Center

The annual Braggin Rights game in St. Louis vs Mizzou will be Sunday December 20th

They also reported on Monday that Illinois will host EIU on Nov. 20. That has become a reoccurring matchup for Illinois in recent years under Brad Underwood.

Finally, the 2026 Braggin’ Rights game against Missouri in St. Louis is set for Sunday, Dec. 20.
