REPORT: Giants considering trade offer for Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr.

Time it running out for the Pittsburgh Steelers to make a decision on whether or not to trade cornerback Joey Porter Jr. It seems clear that Porter Jr. is willing to sit out the season as he has dragged this out for the first three weeks of the season and now, according to a report by New York Giants beat writer Art Stapleton, things are heating up about the Giants making a move for Porter Jr.

According to Stapleton, he won’t be surprised if something happens and it sounds like the conversations are getting louder. He doesn’t clarify but we assume this is talk among the Giants organization about making a trade for Porter Jr. to help with their banged up secondary.

Are Giants pushing for CB Joey Porter Jr. from Steelers? The whispers in back channels have gotten louder in DMs and texts since Sunday. If it happens, I won’t be surprised.
Still not sure it does or what the cost would be. I guess if you’re NYG, you hope JPJ forces PIT hand.
