Report: Former Portland Thorns midfielder Deyna Castellanos is set to join Tigres

After the news about Venezuelan international Deyna Castellanos and the Portland Thorns agreement to a mutual contract termination, more news surrounding the midfielder are coming.

According to Liga Femenil BBVA insider Bruno Hernández, Castellanos is set to join Tigres.

With the addition of Castellanos to the roster, Tigres will have eight midfielders available. However, they still have to see what to do with the huge hole left by Greta Espinoza in the defense, whose season came to a sudden end after tearing her ACL and spraining her lateral collateral ligament of the right knee.
