Real Madrid trigger Nico Paz’s buyback clause, will sell him to Como for €60 million -report

Real Madrid have triggered their option to buy Nico Paz back, according to reports published on AS and MARCA. Los Blancos always had the opportunity to spend €9 million and bring Nico Paz back and they’ve decided to execute it. However, it looks like Real Madrid will sell the Argentinian wonder kid to Como for €60 million, per those same reports on AS and MARCA.

Nico Paz’s value appeared to be higher than €60 million, some some rumors suggest that Real Madrid could be keeping a future option to bring him back for €80 million if Como ultimately decide to spend that kind of money to retain Paz on their roster.

Either way, it looks like Real Madrid now have control over Paz’s future, with the player keen on spending another year with Como knowing how hard it will be for him to get consistent playing time over established stars like Valverde, Arda Güler or Jude Bellingham.
