Indeed, Arsenal have decided to make an all-out attempt to sign the Brazilian star. While there have not yet been any formal negotiations between the clubs, the first steps have already been taken.

The Gunners have identified Vinicius as their top transfer target and are now planning their strategy to sign the winger who is in the final year of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Negotiations between the club and the Brazilian forward have involved lengthy discussions without a breakthrough.

Although relations between the two parties remain positive, they have yet to reach a final agreement after several months of talks, with the main disagreement stemming from the salary that the player is demanding and the club’s reluctance to meet those figures.

Now, there will be a meeting on Monday, when Vinicius returns for pre-season after his holiday, with his renewal situation set to be discussed.

Amidst all this, Arsenal are monitoring the situation closely, believing Real Madrid will be keen to avoid the possibility of losing one of their biggest stars on a free transfer in 2027.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are not the only one pursuing Vinicius as Saudi Arabia, his long-time admirers, are also back in the picture.

The Middle East nation continues to view the Brazilian attacker as a dream target, and could look to pounce on his current situation with a lucrative contract offer.

Real Madrid find themselves in a tricky situation. Vinicius remains an integral part of the club’s sporting project, but with no contract agreement, they risk losing him for nothing in 2027.

So, Monday’s meeting will be critical to see whether common ground can be achieved or if the two parties decide to part ways after a successful eight-year partnership.
