Real Madrid consider Jarrad Branthwaite
According to Goal, Jarrad Branthwaite is attracting growing interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Real Madrid closely monitoring the Everton centre-back ahead of future transfer windows.
The Spanish giants view the 24-year-old as a potential long-term addition to their defence despite strengthening the position during the summer. Club officials are said to be keeping a close eye on Branthwaite’s development as they continue planning for the future.
However, convincing Everton to sell will not be easy. The Toffees reportedly have no desire to part with one of their most important players and are believed to value the England international at around €93 million.
Real Madrid are not alone in the race. Manchester United remain long-term admirers of Branthwaite and could revive their interest, while Manchester City and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the defender.
Despite concerns over injury problems during the 2025-26 campaign, Branthwaite has started the new season strongly, further enhancing his reputation as one of the Premier League’s most highly rated young defenders.
For now, Everton remain determined to keep hold of their defensive star, meaning any interested club is likely to face a significant transfer fee if they decide to make a move.
