Real Madrid have turned to UEFA and called for Barcelona to be stripped of their titles and banned from European competition.

President Florentino Perez is back on the warpath after winning the latest elections in the Spanish capital and has compiled a dossier on Barcelona which has now been sent to UEFA, according to AS.

Perez remains furious at Barcelona over the Negreira case, something he rarely fails to bring up whenever he can, and is determined to see the Catalans punished.

Real Madrid’s complaint is reportedly “supported by clear evidence” and has been sent to Europe’s governing body. Los Blancos are seeking “to have the titles won by the Catalan club during those years removed from their official record, so that the Blaugrana cannot boast about them.”

Perez and Co. are also hoping for a sanction that would “prevent them from participating in European competitions.”

It remains to be seen how UEFA will respond to the infamous dossier at a time when relations between the two old rivals are very tense indeed.

Perez’s most recent rant about Barcelona, referees and Negreira saw the club respond by saying they were considering taking legal action after the Madrid chief.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has also insisted that his club’s relationship with Madrid is “completely broken.”
