The Los Angeles Rams won the offseason with their two blockbuster trades, adding Trent McDuffie in a deal this Spring and kicking off summer with the Myles Garrett trade with the Cleveland Browns.

It’s been a very exciting offseason, and with the NFL season inching ever closer, it’s fair to wonder how good this Rams team will be in 2026.

ESPN’s Seth Walder shared a Super Bowl projection for the Rams following this Garrett trade, and it’s a lofty 14.9% mark that, while it might seem small on the surface, is actually the highest mark of any team in the NFL by a wide margin.

“The result is the Rams are Super Bowl favorites, with a 14.9% chance to win the title,” Walder writes. “That’s more than 4 percentage points higher than the next-best team, the Bills.”

Following the Garrett trade, and with all of the other moves the Rams have made this offseason, they’re currently the overwhelming Super Bowl favorites.

Thanks to their elite offense last season coming back together for another year, and their already solid defense getting significantly better with Garrett and McDuffie, the only possible concern, aside from injuries, is the special teams unit.

If that doesn’t pose a problem, this Rams team is the clear best one in the entire NFL. Compared to the Seattle Seahawks, coming off their 2025 Super Bowl title, they have just a 7.0% chance to win the Super Bowl in 2026.

The Rams are more than twice as favored by ESPN to win the Super Bowl this season as the Seahawks. That shows how valuable an elite offense is compared to an elite defense, along with the impact of Garrett and McDuffie on their Super Bowl odds.

While the Rams were already Super Bowl favorites before the Garrett trade, according to Walder, this blockbuster move has made Los Angeles all the more of a threat to join the Los Angeles Dodgers as a super team to win their sport’s titles.
