Politics deep - Igbokwe reacts to viral video of Uzodimma, Okorocha, Oshiomhole celebrating

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has reacted to a viral video showing Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, and his predecessor, Rochas Okorocha, celebrating together. He consequently described politics as “deep.”

DAILY POST reports that Uzodimma and Okorocha recently fell out following a Federal High Court judgment in Abuja which removed the governor as the APC candidate for the Imo West Senatorial District election and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to publish Okorocha’s name as the authentic candidate.

The judgment triggered divisions among political leaders, with some celebrating Okorocha’s victory while others maintained that Uzodimma had been treated unjustly.

However, in what appeared to be a surprising twist, Uzodimma, Okorocha and Senator Adams Oshiomhole were captured in a viral video on Wednesday singing and celebrating together.

In the video, Uzodimma and Okorocha exchanged a warm handshake while Oshiomhole held their hands and led them in a song of unity.

Reacting to the development, Igbokwe, in a post on his Facebook page, described politics as a deep and interesting game.

“Politics is deep. Politics is a game. Politics is fun. Politics is life,” he wrote.
