The lefty posted a 1.89 ERA in 38 innings of work this season as a true freshman. Trosclair had a 5-1 record and struck out 55 batters on the year. Opponents hit just .222 against him on his way to being named the Southland Conference Freshman of the Year.
His season ended early back in April due to an arm injury.
Trosclair still has three seasons of eligibility remaining coming off of his freshman season. He will not be draft eligible until 2028. Trosclair adds another arm to start Tennessee’s transfer portal class, joining former Mercer tw0-way star Braydon Kersey. Both will provide immediate depth for the Volunteers on the mound, which was a clear need looking ahead to next season.
Expect to hear more names soon as Tennessee continues to roll through visits.
