The Pirates received a diagnosis on second-base prospect Termarr Johnson’s left knee injury, and it’s not good news.

Johnson, who was carted off the field for Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, suffered a torn ACL and LCL. He will be examined by Dr. Dan Cooper in Dallas, Texas, next week.

Johnson suffered the season-ending injury while running to first base. He landed awkwardly and immediately clutched his left knee before he was taken off the field with an air cast around his leg.
