The Carolina Panthers have added some backup to their banged up offense here in Week 3.

As announced on Saturday afternoon, running back Anthony “Tre” Tyus III and wide receiver David Moore have been elevated from the practice squad for tomorrow’s matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Both are being called up for the first time this season.

Tyus, who cracked into the NFL as an undrafted free agent in the spring of 2025, is currently in his second season with the Panthers. The 23-year-old led the team with 127 rushing yards on 31 attempts during the preseason.

With both Jonathon Brooks and Trevor Etienne currently on injured reserve, Tyus will provide depth behind starter Chuba Hubbard and sixth-year veteran AJ Dillon.

Carolina is also facing some uncertainty at the wideout position, where Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette are considered questionable for Sunday.

In addition, the Panthers have placed inside linebacker Claudin Cherelus on injured reserve due to the shoulder injury he sustained in last week’s win over the Atlanta Falcons. Fellow linebacker Maema Njongmeta has been signed to the active roster in Cherelus’ place.
