Packers launch football camps for Wisconsin students

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — The Green Bay Packers are helping kids across the Badger State get active and have fun on the football field.

The Packers are hosting Football Outreach Camps for elementary school students in De Pere, Waupaca, Appleton, Titletown, and Weston.

The camps will take place this fall and include 150 to 300 students.

The camps take place during the following times:

• Syble Hopp School in De Pere: September 15, 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

• Waupaca Learning Center Elementary: September 18, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

• Richmond Elementary in Appleton: September 22, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

• Emplify Health Field in Titletown: September 29, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

• Mountain Bay Elementary in Weston: October 6, 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Syble Hopp School in De Pere: September 15, 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Waupaca Learning Center Elementary: September 18, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Richmond Elementary in Appleton: September 22, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Emplify Health Field in Titletown: September 29, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Mountain Bay Elementary in Weston: October 6, 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

The football camps are part of the NFL’s Play 60 program, which encourages children to get 60 minutes of physical activity a day.
