Osun Election: I would’ve been there if Tinubu wanted APC to win at all costs — Wike
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, says he would have been in Osun State to help secure victory for the All Progressives Congress, APC, if President Bola Tinubu had wanted the party to win the governorship election.
The minister made the claim on Tuesday while inspecting flood-prone areas in Abuja.
According to him, President Tinubu could have secured victory for the APC if he had decided to pursue the election at all costs. “If the President had wanted to win the Osun State election at all costs, I would have been there and we would have won it, and there’s nothing the governor can do,” he said.
