Osun decides: Adeleke wins Osogbo LGA with 36,480 votes

The Accord Party governorship candidate and incumbent governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has secured the highest number of votes in Osogbo Local Government Area in the state’s governorship election held on Saturday, August 15.

The result was announced by the Osogbo Local Government Collation Officer, Dr Udom, at the state collation centre in Osogbo.

Adeleke, who is seeking a second term in office, polled 36,480 votes to defeat his closest rival, the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who recorded 30,474 votes.

The African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate, Najeem Salaam, finished a distant third with 1,503 votes.
