Olivia Miles joins exclusive WNBA club alongside A’ja Wilson and more after award win
Olivia Miles has had a prolific debut season and was recently named as the 2026 WNBA Rookie of the Year.
Miles was selected as the second overall pick in the first round of the 2026 draft by the Minnesota Lynx and played a key role in their regular season success.
The Lynx topped the table, and after such an impressive first year, she received all 74 votes in the Rookie of the Year voting, becoming only the sixth player in history to achieve that feat.

In turn, she has joined an exclusive list of names, which features multi-time MVP A’ja Wilson as well as the Indiana Fever’s Aliyah Boston.
As shared by reporter Meghan L. Hall: “Olivia Miles is the 2026 WNBA Rookie of the Year. The award was unanimous. She received all 74 votes.
“Miles is the 6th unanimous ROY, joining Aliyah Boston, A’ja Wilson, Elena Delle Donne, Tina Charles and Candace Parker.”
Miles finished the regular season with 790 points, and her attention has now turned towards the playoffs.
But the Lynx’s postseason has not got off to a great start, despite facing 8th-place New York Liberty in the first round.
They lost their opening game 75-91, leaving them with much work to do in the second game on Tuesday evening.
