OKC Thunder agrees to offer sheet with Nuggets forward Spencer Jones, per report

The OKC Thunder agreed to a two-year, $12 million offer sheet with restricted free agent Spencer Jones on Saturday. ESPN’s Shams Charania first reported the news.Jones is a 25-year-old forward who has spent the first two years of his career with the Denver Nuggets. He averaged 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 22.1 minutes last season on 50.4% shooting from the field (39.6% from deep).Denver has until 11:59 p.m. ET Sunday to match the deal, which is fully guaranteed.Jones would fill OKC’s 15th and final roster spot, which it freed up by trading Lu Dort to the Atlanta Hawks on July 19. The Thunder is $6.9 million below the second apron.
