Ohio State themed Clippers hats now available for sale | Buckeyes Wire

If you missed the news last week, the Columbus Clippers announced an Ohio State-themed game to be held in September, just before the contest vs. Kent State at home. As part of the game, the Clippers will be wearing OSU-themed uniforms complete with a Buckeye leaf, the outline of Ohio, and no shortage of scarlet and gray on the custom uniform.

But let’s not forget about the baseball caps that the team will adorn as well. On Monday, the hometown AAA Cleveland Guardians affiliate released photos of six custom Ohio State-themed Clippers hats that are now for sale. We have to admit, they are pretty cool, and there are plenty of options that run the gamut of light gray, white, and both light and darker red with alternating tones. Four of the styles are available for purchase now, with two more “coming soon.”

We’re not sure how long these will be available, so if you’d like to get your hands on one or more of them, it might be time to head on over to the Clippers’ online MBL store and grab them before they disappear.

Some think having the Ohio State gorilla in town as the most-followed sports team hurts the other options in town, but this is a good example of embracing the Buckeyes culture. Good on the Clippers.
