Ohio State star wideout Jeremiah Smith makes insane one-handed catch look routine

It’s been the Jeremiah Smith show once again for Ohio State on Saturday.

Maryland hasn’t had an answer for Smith, who has three receptions for 81 yards and two touchdowns. One of those catches was absolutely ridiculous and shows why he’s one of the best players in all of college football.

He ran a short route across the field and made a crazy one-handed catch look so easy. The pass was behind him, but it didn’t matter. He then beat a defender and gained extra yards.

Take a look:

Jeremiah Smith’s Heisman Trophy campaign

Smith is arguably the best wide receiver in football and has shown why during this season. Coming into Saturday’s game, he has compiled 44 receptions for 823 yards and nine touchdowns.

He’s on pace to secure his third straight 1,000-yard season and is only a few touchdown receptions away from tying his single-season high of 15. Right now, he’s probably the top favorite to win the Heisman Trophy at year’s end.

Ohio State is up 31-10 in the third quarter and in a good spot to be 5-1 heading into next week’s massive showdown against Indiana.
