The Ohio State Buckeyes are clearly one of the best college football programs in the country.

Ohio State also has one of the best club football teams in the country, a four-time national champion.

OSU’s coaching staff isn’t overlooking the talent that’s already on campus.

On Tuesday, news emerged that the Buckeyes have called up four players from the club team to the NCAA roster for the 2026 season ahead.

Zach Hayes, Glorien Gough and Ian Gecse have already been called up.

The latest guy? Jackson Gula.

Gula was a second-team All-American at the club level in 2025, putting up 29 tackles, eight pass breakups and three interceptions in the OSU secondary.

Gula joins Zach Hayes, Glorien Gough and Ian Gecse as former Club Football players that will now be teammates in 2026.

Gula and his club teammates won’t necessarily get huge playing time at the varsity level.

The chance that they’re getting called up at all, though, is special for them and a testament to their work and the work of the club teammates around them.

It’s also cool to see the Buckeyes giving these opportunities. It can only help the club program continue to be strong.
