Official: Udinese buy Vojvoda from Como for €1.6m

Udinese have officially bought Mergim Vojvoda from Como in a deal believed to be worth €1.6m including add-ons.

The agreement had been reached between the two clubs in the last few days, and it was formalised over the weekend.

The 31-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract to June 2028, while there is an option to add another season after that.

It is reported the fee is €1.3m plus a further €0.3m in performance-related bonuses.

A Kosovo international, Vojvoda has been in Italian football since first coming to Torino from Standard Liege in the summer of 2020.

He then moved on to Como at a cost of €2m in February 2025, where he helped them to secure qualification for the Champions League.

The versatile defender made 45 competitive appearances for Como, scoring three goals and providing five assists for his teammates.

Primarily a right-back, he can also play in a more advanced role, or in central defence if required.
