Items recovered from the suspects include a 2010 Toyota Camry, popularly known as Camry Muscle; two vehicle number plates bearing ABJ-289-CQ, Abuja, and LAF-761-AG, Nasarawa; a Moniepoint ATM card; a cutlass; and ₦169,500 in cash.

The State Commandant, Brah Samson Umoru, said the Command had commenced a thorough investigation to determine the ownership and source of the vehicle and establish the roles played by the suspects and others who may be connected to the alleged crime.

“We are determined to identify, arrest and dismantle criminal networks involved in vehicle theft, robbery and other forms of criminality across Nasarawa State,” Umoru said.

He also called on residents to provide security agencies with credible and timely information, stressing that public cooperation was essential to effective crime prevention.

The NSCDC said efforts were ongoing to apprehend other suspected members of the alleged gang who are still at large.

It added that the suspects and anyone else found culpable would be prosecuted before a court after the conclusion of investigations.
