NPFL: Sporting Lagos ready for 2026-27 season – Coach Butter

Sporting Lagos coach, Jeffrey Butter, says his team is re-energised and ready for the challenge of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The modest club gained promotion to the top-flight last season, claiming the NNL title.

Butter insisted that there will be changes in the team for the new season.

“Time to rest, recharge, and refire,” Butter told Sportslighthub.

“Of course we’ll see lots of changes, but we’ll be ready.”

Sporting Lagos are expected to strengthen their squad with new players for the new campaign.
