The NWSL club confirmed the news, saying the transfer was for an undisclosed fee. Alidou arrived in Portland in the 2025 season, helping the team finish third that year. Her time in Portland finished with one goal and three assists in 12 starts and 32 appearances. In this way, the Canadian international goes back home since she’s a Montréal native.

Besides the midfielder, the Rose de Montréal announced the signing of French defender Ève Perisset. After a decorated career in Europe, Perisset arrived in Mexico to play with UANL Tigres, where she helped them win another championship. She not only boasts a successful career at a club level, but the right-back also had a pivotal role with her national team, with the Olympic Games in Paris the most recent top tournament she took part in with Les Bleues.
