We asked for your views about Danny Rohl’s possible departure from Rangers, with the German linked with RB Salzburg.

Here are some of your comments:

Alex: I like Rohl but if his heart isn’t in the Rangers job then he should leave because we want people at our club who are committed and is all in. I would like to see Steven Gerrard make a return to our club, he’s still got unfinished business and is my choice to take over the Rangers job if Rohl does leave.

Stuart: Can’t keep changing managers. Should give him another season. Every year’s a rebuild.

James: Rohl can go if he wants, we were very poor when it really mattered last season and it was unforgivable how he treated James Tavernier on a dead rubber game. No class at all and you can’t get away with winning absolutely nothing after spending so much money either.

Phil: No great loss if he goes. A bang average manager at best, showed his true level after the split last season. We need/deserve better.

Morris: If Danny goes, I wish him all the best and thank him. We need our identity back and the right manager has to know exactly what is required from being at Rangers.

Chris: Funny situation this. I wasn’t convinced by Rohl, although he improved on Russel Martin’s mess to the extent a lot of us actually thought we had a chance at the title. However, his failure to motivate the team post-split was abysmal. If he goes, many won’t shed a tear. But if he wants to stay he has to be sure he can do better. A big no to Gerrard and I’m disinclined towards McInnes.

Billy: Nothing decided yet, but if Rohl leaves, I think Stevie G would be a safe pair of hands, though there would be a lot of Rangers fans unhappy because of the way he left to go to Villa. More upheaval is the last thing we need but life at Rangers goes on.
