Nintendo Officially Drops Surprise October 31 Direct

Nintendo often provides minimal advance warning for its Nintendo Direct showcases, but the latest one is even more of a surprise than usual. Announced only 10 minutes before airing, the new Pikmin Day Direct, available on the Nintendo of America YouTube channel, provides several updates on the eccentric Pikmin franchise.

While no new games were announced during the showcase, it offered another look at Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 edition, a first look at upcoming updates for Pikmin Bloom, and a short movie to kick off the upcoming Hello! Pikmin series.
