‘Nigerians must be free to say your policies are hurting them’ — Atiku tells Tinubu

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to allow Nigerians to freely express concerns about government policies.

Atiku said citizens should not be prevented from speaking out when they believe government policies are negatively affecting their lives.

“Nigerians must be free to say your policies are hurting them,” Atiku said.

He stressed that criticism is an important part of democracy and that those in government should be willing to listen to citizens and respond to legitimate concerns.

The former vice president maintained that Nigerians have the right to demand accountability from their leaders and express dissatisfaction with government decisions.
