Nigerian Army announces recruitment for technical specialists
The Nigerian Army has announced a special recruitment exercise for skilled men and women as part of the 92 Regular Recruits Intake, with online registration scheduled to run from September 16 to October 21, 2026.
According to the Army in a post on X on Friday, the exercise is specifically designed to attract Nigerians with technical skills needed in specialised areas of military service.
The recruitment is open to boat operators, marine mechanics, electrical and mechanical engineers, and other technical apprentices.
The Army said interested applicants must meet the stipulated requirements and complete their registration within the designated period.
Applicants are required to be Nigerian citizens by birth and must be between 18 and 35 years of age as of October 21, 2026.
The Army also reiterated that recruitment into the Nigerian Army is free of charge, warning prospective applicants against paying individuals or organisations claiming to facilitate recruitment.
Qualified candidates have therefore been advised to complete their applications online before the October 21 deadline.
According to the Army, the exercise is part of its ongoing efforts to recruit personnel with specialised technical skills into its ranks.
