NFL standings: Where are Jaguars in early AFC South race?

Following the Week 3 slate of NFL games, the Jacksonville Jaguars remain in early control of the AFC South race.

The Jaguars bounced back in a big way after a disappointing Week 2 loss in Denver, cruising past the 2025 AFC Champion New England Patriots, 35-6.

Jacksonville is now 2-1 on the season, with a one-game lead over the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts and Houston Texans, both of whom entered this week 0-2, faced off and found themselves in an early season must-win game. A late field goal by the Colts would give Indianapolis the 19-17 victory, as they improved to 1-2 on the season.

The Texans are now 0-3, as are the Tennessee Titans, who failed to come through late on Sunday against the New York Giants.

The Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and the Las Vegas Raiders all sit atop the AFC with 3-0 records.

The Jaguars next game is on the road in Cincinnati. Their first division game will take place in Week 6 in London against the Texans.
