Walker has been taking reps with Patrick Mahomes through individual and 7-on-7 drills, though Mahomes remains limited as he recovers from a torn ACL. Kansas City ranked 25th in rushing yards per game in 2025, averaging 106.6 yards on the ground, and lost eight of their last nine games after Mahomes went down.

Walker steps into an offensive line with Pro Bowl center Creed Humphrey and guard Trey Smith, giving him a more reliable blocking setup than he had in Seattle.
