Netflix’s Next David Baldacci Hero Officially Returns This Month

2026 has been a year full of successful projects for Netflix, both on the movie and TV side of the development aisle. The most-watched movie of the year for Netflix so far has been War Machine, the fan-favorite sci-fi thriller starring Alan Ritchson, who is best known for starring in Prime Video’s Reacher series. After the movie earned over 135 million views during its first 90 days on streaming, Netflix has since confirmed that a sequel to the film, tentatively titled War Machines, is officially in the works. Netflix also found success with the release of its newest Harlan Coben series, I Will Find You, starring Sam Worthington and Britt Lower. The studio has also enlisted KJ Apa (Jimmy) to lead Coben’s next adaptation, which is coming to Netflix in 2027.
