NBC has the rights to Sunday Night Baseball. This week, it’s the Boston Red Sox hosting the New York Yankees.

The game isn’t on NBC, though. Fans going to their local network to watch it won’t find it on that channel, at least to start the game.

It’s making people furious.

How do I watch Yankees-Red Sox on Sunday Night Baseball?

The game is being broadcast exclusively on Peacock, at least until the PGA Tour golf event is over on NBC.

That’s NBC’s streaming service, and it requires a subscription.

It’s also on NBCSN, which isn’t available in many places.

Why is Yankees-Red Sox only on Peacock?

This is clearly NBC trying to add some subscribers by putting the popular rivalry on its streaming service — and they also must have some obligation to get the golf tourney’s finish on the network channel.

Especially for older fans, though, this is going to be quite frustrating.

How do fans feel?

The social media chatter isn’t positive.

Was listening on radio for the first couple of innings, came home and threw on NBC only to find that they were showing golf instead of Red Sox-Yankees. RIVALRY!

Very interesting programming decision on NBC tonight — Women’s PGA overrun, then PGA Tour overrun, with Yankees-Red Sox on Peacock and NBCSN. Not necessarily against it, but I imagine it will be unpopular.
