NASCAR In-Season Challenge lost in shuffle at Atlanta? Results, bracket update
There’s a lot to talk about after last weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta.
The three-hour rain delay and 2 a.m. checkered flag. The three-man overtime battle for the lead, which resulted in Ryan Blaney’s win by 0.068 seconds. Bubba Wallace’s controversial penalty.
But how about the In-Season Challenge?
It acted as a secondary storyline Sunday, but the bracket has slimmed down to just four contestants following the third of five rounds. A champion will be crowned over the next two weeks at North Wilkesboro and Indianapolis.
Three of the remaining drivers come as no surprise at all: Blaney, Chase Elliott and Christopher Bell. Todd Gilliland is a little more shocking after entering as the 25th seed.
Here’s a full look at Atlanta’s results and North Wilkesboro’s matchups. The Window World 450 is set for 7 p.m. on July 19.
