NASCAR at New Hampshire: Start time, TV, streaming, lineup for Dollar Tree 301

With two races remaining in the regular season, the NASCAR Cup Series heads north this week for the Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The winner of five of the first nine races this season, Tyler Reddick is the pole-sitter for Sunday’s race in Loudon, New Hampshire. It’s Reddick’s first pole win since April at Kansas, and he’s aiming for his first victory since then as well. The driver of the No. 45 Toyota for 23XI Racing is fighting through a bit of a midseason slump as he’s finished 25th or worse in six of the last 10 races.

Reddick has had some solid results mixed in there, running second at Pocono, finishing inside the top-10 at Atlanta and the Brickyard 400, and salvaging an 11th-place finish last weekend at Richmond after catching a caution at the right time. Reddick’s team could use a victory this weekend to build some momentum ahead of the postseason Chase.

“We fight through those hard days very well as a team. When we get into the Chase — I mean, ideally on paper, you don’t want to have a bad race, but when it does happen, you know it’s important to respond the right way,” Reddick told USA TODAY Sports this week. “And I feel like our team does that. When something goes wrong, we don’t just throw our hands up in the air and start complaining. We get to work. We start figuring out ways that we can make the most of the day or get out of the hole completely and still try and win the race.”

Josh Berry will join Reddick on the front row and is aiming for what would be his fourth consecutive top 10 finish — something the 35-year-old has never pulled off before in his Cup Series career. Berry, driving the No. 21 Ford for Wood Brothers, ran second at New Hampshire last season.

For Berry, he’s racing for a job next season. He won’t return to Wood Brothers next year as reigning O’Reilly Series champion Jesse Love will fill his seat there, leaving Berry without a Cup Series ride for 2027.

“We’re fighting for everything we can get. Obviously, these are some great tracks for us and tracks I feel really comfortable at, and we got to make the most of these,” Berry said after finishing eighth at Richmond last weekend. “But running top 10 in the Cup Series isn’t easy. To be able to do it anywhere, I think shows that I can do the job. We just have to keep working and see what happens.”

With two races to go until the start of the postseason, much attention will be paid to the drivers around the cut line for the Chase. Bubba Wallace, Austin Cindric and Shane van Gisbergen will be aiming to hold onto their spots in the top 16, while Ryan Preece, Ross Chastain, Brad Keselowski and Erik Jones need to have great performances at New Hampshire and Daytona to crack the field.

An ace on road courses, van Gisbergen has been improving on NASCAR’s traditional ovals and was fifth in qualifying on Saturday.

Of the drivers on the bubble, Jones will begin the race in the best position to capitalize after qualifying 10th. The driver of the No. 43 Toyota for Legacy Motor Club is 82 points behind van Gisbergen for the 16th spot.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire:

The Dollar Tree 301 is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 23, at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire.

The Dollar Tree 301 will be broadcast on USA Network. Pre-race coverage will start at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Leigh Diffey will have the call alongside analysts Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte. Burton and Letarte will join host Marty Snider and 1999 Winston Cup champion Dale Jarrett on pre- and postrace shows. Former Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne will be the pace-car analyst.

Unlike last season, NASCAR races broadcast by USA Network cannot be streamed on Peacock. Subscribers to YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV and Sling TV can watch through those services, or fans can log into the USA Network app with their cable provider information.

HBO Max will continue to provide live streams of in-car cameras, while PRN will carry the live radio broadcast.

The Dollar Tree 301 is 301 laps around the 1.058-mile track for a total of 318.46 miles. The race will have three segments (laps per stage) — Stage 1: 70 laps; Stage 2: 115 laps; Stage 3: 116 laps.

This race opened the Round of 12 in the old playoff format last season, and Ryan Blaney took the checkered flag with a 0.9-second advantage over Josh Berry after leading 116 laps. William Byron, Joey Logano and Chase Elliott rounded out last season’s top five at New Hampshire. Other active Cup Series drivers who have won at New Hampshire include Christopher Bell, Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin and Logano.

A driver behind the wheel of a Chevrolet has not won a Cup Series race at New Hampshire since 2012 when Kasey Kahne took the checkered flag for Hendrick Motorsports.
