More details emerge about Dianna Russini’s presumed weekly BetUS show, column

· · 2 min read

We waited a long time to learn what former The Athletic NFL insider Dianna Russini would do next after the fallout from the scandal surrounding her relationship with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.

We finally found out this week, and now details are coming fast and furious.

Pro Football Talk reported earlier this week that Russini had signaled her return behind the scenes. Front Office Sports connected the dots on Friday, suggesting she was likely launching a new digital show in partnership with BetUS, an offshore operator based in Costa Rica. BetUS seemingly confirmed that news by posting a promo video touting “a familiar voice, a huge arrival.” They deleted the video soon after, then reposted it later that day.

Something big is arriving on November 11.

Later that day, BetUS posted a press release about its “new weekly NFL show hosted by [a] veteran specialist,” with more details on what the show will entail and what other roles the “specialist” will have.

“Although we can’t disclose the name just yet, we can reveal that this specialist will be hosting a live NFL betting show featuring game previews, matchup breakdowns, guest interviews, and data-backed NFL picks and predictions throughout the remainder of the 2026 season,” read the release. “Special guests will also join the show and share their insights on everything from sides to totals to prop bets.”

The release also noted that this new “NFL colleague” will write a column “that will convey thoughts and analysis on the weekly matchups and offer fresh perspectives on the league and the players who make it America’s most popular sport.”

While the first episode launches on Wednesday, November 11, BetUS says they plan to unveil this “mystery host” on Monday, Nov. 9.

If you were still on the fence about whether this mystery person was Russini, Page Six, the outlet that published the photos that started all of this, spoke with a source who confirmed Russini will be “headlining her own show, which is very, very exciting for her.”

“It’s going to be on a digital platform. It will be launching next week. It’s been in the works for a while, and she can’t wait to get back to what she loves,” the source added.

More details are coming, but the whole situation is curious for Russini. While she was well-regarded for her insider access and knowledge, she wasn’t exactly known for her gambling acumen. It’s also unclear whether her deal with BetUS is exclusive or allows her to pursue other opportunities, like a Substack newsletter or an independant podcast.

And of course, the biggest question of all is this: Is she going to talk about the scandal that ended her time at The Athletic, and how much is she willing or interested in sharing?
