Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski is a popular player at the MLB All-Star festivities in Philadelphia July 13.
However, he won’t pitch in the game.
In Misiorowski’s last start before the All-Star break on July 7, he tossed 11 strikeouts and zero walks across seven innings in the Brewers’ 4-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
It moved him to 10-4 on the season.
The 103 pitches were his second most of the season and third time he topped 100 this year.
Jacob Misiorowski earned his ninth win of the season and threw another quality start, allowing only one run and just two hits across six innings in a Brewers 6-2 over the Chicago Cubs on June 26 at American Family Field.
In the first inning of the game, Misiorowski threw a pitch 105.5 mph, breaking his own record for fastest ever for a starting pitcher and tied for the third-fastest tracked by any pitcher ever.

He earned his fifth win on the season and had lowered his ERA to 1.83.

It was the beginning of a stretch of five straight starts that Misiorowski was the winning pitcher. During this period, he allowed only one earned run across 36 innings pitched.

Misiorowski pitched incredible against the San Diego Padres but didn’t have much support in a 3-1 Brewers loss on May 13.

The 11-strikeout game is one eight double-digit strikeout performances for Misiorowski from the first half of the season.
In a Brewers 6-1 win over the Washington Nationals on May 1, Misiorowski didn’t allow a hit in 5.1 innings.
He had eight strikeouts with only two walks.
It started a stretch when he didn’t allow a run across four straight starts over 24.1 innings.

And it was spectacular performance and a sign of what was to come in the first half of the season.
